In terms of the Professional Series suite (which includes Tax Manager, Secretarial Assistant and Time Right) together with Tax Advisor and iTax Connect the medium sized accounting firm in South Africa is in fact Accfin’s major target market.  It is these firms that have between 1500 – 8000 taxpayer clients.

The strength of our programs lies in the fact that a user can in fact be anywhere in the system, and with a couple of clicks can access work in progress and the status of debtors at any time.

With the ability to link individuals i.e director or shareholders where say the tax work is done, so that when an individual is billed the debit of the individual lands up on the company’s debtor’s account automatically.

One of our real strengths is the fact that we bill fees on a transactional basis so that when one prepares a tax return or produces a secretarial job the debit lands up immediately on the debtors account automatically.

The system has a very unique ability to do batch or global billing in the case of provisional tax where a firm might need to produce say 2,000 invoices quickly.  By just clicking a button and completing a screen with parameters 2,000 invoices can be generated in a matter of minutes.  This process will then allow the user to review the bills, make the necessary changes, do the printing or e-mail them directly to the customer and update the debtors account immediately.

We have noticed that in our medium size accounting firms there is this constant need to roll out more and more terminals to give users viewing access to the very valuable information that our systems hold.
