“See his curriculum vitae below” an ex CIPRO Deputy Registrar has been retained to present a comparative course on the new Company’s Bill. Erich has spent the last six months advising lawyers and Corporate Companies on the impact that the New Company Bill is going to have.
Erich Helberg was a qualified practicing attorney who spent 20 years in the office of the Registrar of Company’s and only recently retired with a rank of Deputy Director or Deputy Registrar. He was mostly involved with the interpretation of the current Act interacting with the members of the Auditing, Accounting and Legal professions. He was responsible for problem solving as far as the current Act was concerned and normally drafting High Court papers where the Registrar was involved in such matters. He also served as a secretary on behalf of the Registrar on the Standard Advisory Commission on Company Law (SAC) for many years, (under judges Margo, Goldstone and King).
