COMPANY LAW COURSE - THE NEW COMPANIES ACT
The time has come to start having a very serious look at the New Company's ACT. The implementation date is the 1st April 2011, which only gives us 45 days to get our act together!

The course will be practical and cover the ins and outs of company secretarial practice under the new act as follows:-

" Incorporation (including the Memorandum of Incorporation) of Private, Public, Section 21 and External Companies in accordance with the New Act

"       Amendment of Memorandum of Incorporation
"       Rules of a Company
"       Requirements for Letterheads
"       Annual Returns
"       Company Shares
"       Directors
"       Special Resolutions
"       Governance in Companies
"       Company Secretaries and Auditors
"       Schedule 2 - Conversations of Close Corporations to Companies
"       Schedule 5 - Transitional arrangements including amendments to bring Memoranda in harmony with New Act

We will be running the course in all main centers and where feasible in small centers as well. The cost of the course will be R1600 inclusive and include lunch and refreshments and will run from 8.30 for 9 until 4.30.
